C3 Church Christchurch

C3 Church Christchurch is made up of three churches in Christchurch, New Zealand. With people, teams, groups, rosters, giving, events, and important pastoral information to manage, they needed a reliable way to keep everything organised and accessible.

For Jonty, church Pastor and Head of I.T., the goal was simple: find a robust system that could securely hold the data they needed, while making life easier for the people using it.

Before infoodle, the team was relying on spreadsheet apps to manage their information. While spreadsheets could be shared, the number of people and teams involved meant they quickly became difficult to manage.

Multiple spreadsheets were being used across the organisation, often with conflicting information. Getting a clear picture of what was happening took several steps, and staff were spending more office hours trying to manage information than meeting with people.

Since moving to infoodle, C3 Church Christchurch has been able to bring their people data together into one central system.

They now have an easy way to record who is part of the organisation, store key details, manage group involvement, and track financial contributions. Instead of information being spread across different files, it is all held together in one place.

infoodle has also made it easier to manage access across the organisation. Team members can be given access to the information they need, while sensitive areas can be restricted from others. For C3 Church Christchurch, this has helped provide confidence that their data is securely held, backed up, and meeting the requirements of their insurer.

Alongside their core people management, the team also uses infoodle for rostering, event forms, tracking important dates, and recording notes. Having all of these tools connected in one system has made a real difference.

Around 40 people within the organisation use infoodle regularly, and the team benefits from having a system that is practical, centralised, and designed for the needs of churches and community organisations.
